Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. This is the new direct to video release from DC. Previous releases include Green Lantern (reviewed on this site), and Wonder Woman, (not reviewed…yet).
Lex Luthor is the president of the United States. Superman is framed for a murder (he didn’t commit…DUH). His only proof is that Batman was with him the whole time…the only trouble with that is that Batman cannot just come to court and testify!
Lex issues a 1 Billion dollar bounty on Superman and every villain turns up….well only the ones that can actually give Supes a good fight. Gorilla Grodd, Silver Banshee, Solomon Grundy, Bane, etc.
Lex also sends his personal team, Captain Atom, Major Force, Power Girl, Black Lightening, and Starfire to nab supes.
Captain Marvel and Hawkman even show up!
So basically you should just buy this movie. The animation is wicked (more like human style, not the square jaw style), and the colors are just amazing! The quality of this dvd is great too…I may even re-buy this on bluray!
Also all the original animated series voices return…which means Clancy Brown is Lex!!!
This is a must own for all DC fans.
